FORT WAYNE, INDIANA - The power of film: it transports us to worlds we’ve never experienced, can show us the kaleidoscope of human experience, and has the capacity to bring communities together. Every year, the Oscars mark a moment to reflect upon a year in film and celebrate the art. Join Cinema Center the day before the Academy Awards to celebrate not just the Oscar-nominated films, but the amazing year we've had at Cinema Center.
This year's Oscar Gala will be the Saturday before the Oscars. The auction, which is now live, will end during the Gala. If you are able to support in-person we encourage you to buy tickets to the event, but even if you cannot attend you can support by bidding on these Cinema Center experiences.

After the gala, Cinema Center will screen Quentin Tarantino’s PULP FICTION, which was nominated for seven Oscars in 1995 and is considered one of the films ever to LOSE the bet picture nomination.
Proceeds from the Oscar Gala will help Cinema Center enhance the moviegoing experience. Necessary upgrades over the next few years include a new sound system and expanded accessibility in the Main Theater with assistive listening technology. In the Spectator Lounge, improved soundproofing, upgraded furniture, and a better screen will create a premier space for Q&As, events, and more. And of course, replacing the marquee is a top priority as every great theater deserves a show-stopping entrance! These improvements will ensure a more inclusive and immersive experience for all patrons.
