Founded in 1937, The Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian is New Mexico’s oldest non-profit, independent museum, offering unique exhibitions of contemporary and historic Native American art. The online auction is a new extension of our annual two day auction which takes place at the museum in Santa Fe on August 17th and 18th, in order to allow collectors from around the world to be able to participate in this grand event! The annual auction is our largest fundraiser, which contributes to educational programs, exhibits, and our commitment to the presentation of Native American art and culture.
