The mission of the Harris Nature Center Foundation (HNCF) is to provide a reliable source of funding for special projects to enhance the quality of nature appreciation and education at the Harris Nature Center.

Over the last 5 years, the HNCF has funded the building of a Nature Exploration Area to encourage active and imaginative play in nature. We also fund School Bus Scholarships to provide funding for classroom transportation to the nature center for environmental education programs.

The HNCF is currently fundraising to help build a pavilion at the Harris Nature Center which will include an upper level for viewing nature and holding environmental programs.
