Jamaica, Ocho Rios - Toscanini Italian Restaurant Dinner for Two (2)

Bid for dinner for 2 people at the wonderful Toscanini's Italian restaurant in Harmony Hall, Ocho Rios!

Parma-born siblings Lella and chef Pierluigi "PG" Ricci run Jamaicas favorite and most authentic Italian restaurant in lovely Harmony Hall, a stately 19th century Methodist manse with wood filigree railings on the verandah, linen tablecloths in the indoors dining room, and an art gallery upstairs The restaurant, located just 15 minutes' drive east of Ocho Rios, specialises in Mediterranean cuisine with high-quality Jamaican produce and is widely regarded as one of Jamaica's finest. Located in an ancient beautiful colonial villa which was into a wide pimento plantation, the restaurant charms it's diners with it's rustic indoors and veranda dining area and provides a relaxing setting to enjoy the tastes of Italy and the Mediterranean. It is a daily commitment to get natural first quality products and it is so well appreciated from its guests that some of them are coming from Kingston just to have the pleasure to lunch at Toscanini. The menu features classic Italian dishes and Jamaican fusion cuisine, all made with fresh, local produce. The daily menu ranges widely, encompassing such appetizers as prosciutto with papaya or marinated marlin and mains like garlic lobster pasta, or shrimp sauted with garlic and Appleton rum. Leave room for sumptuous desserts such as strawberry tart or profiteroles. Among its habitual customers Toscanini has famous politicians, musicians, intellectuals and spot men. Most of its guests are Americans, Canadians, Japanese, British.
