Mother-to-Mother Stoddard County Online Auction

The mission of the Mother-to-Mother program is to strive to create self-confident young parents with hope for the future through education, support and services in partnership with the community. Operating funds are generated primarily through donations since few grants are available at this time. Participants are paired with experienced mothers as mentors who are trained to provide advice and emotional support. Modeled after the Missouri Volunteer Resource Mothers Program developed at the University of Missouri, the Stoddard County program began in 2001. The program has on average 40 young moms and 45 children.
