Description: The Jamaica Independence Foundation, Inc., (JIFINYC) is 501(c)(3) accredited non-profit/NGO and was established primarily to manage the annual celebratory activities for Jamaica’s independence here in the Northeast region of the United States. Net proceeds from this and future events raised will support our charities (women are abused, advocating for women in crisis situations, communities and amateur athletes from Jamaica, playing sports in the US and abroad). This year, Jamaica celebrates its 60th year of Independence, and the Jamaica Independence Foundation Committee, is planning a series of events to celebrate this milestone. We invite the community to join us in celebration of Jamaica's greatest achievements over the past 60 years.
