<h1>Summer Soul</h1><p><span style="font-weight: 600;">Artist: </span>Lilly D.<br style="display: block;"><span style="font-weight: 600;">School:</span> Bearden High School, 10th Grade</p><p><span style="font-weight: 600;">Art Educator: </span>Melinda Sims</p><p><br style="display: block;"></p><p>This custom 'art guitar' is a part of the 2024 Epiphone Student Guitar Design Exhibition, hosted by Dogwood Arts. The design contest was open to all high school and middle school students living in East Tennessee. Twenty-two guitar designs were selected for implementation and exhibition. The art guitars are on display in the <a href="https://www.dogwoodarts.com/dogwoodgallery" target="_blank">Dogwood Arts Gallery</a> in Knoxville, TN (123 W. Jackson Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37902) until May 30th and will be at <a href="https://southernskiesmusicfestival.com/" target="_blank">Southern Skies Music Festival</a> on Saturday, May 11th. Funds raised from the guitar auction will benefit year-round youth programs at Dogwood Arts including Art Kits for Kids, the Synergy Student & Art Educator Exhibition, A Very Special Arts Festival, and more. </p><p><br style="display: block;"></p><p>This program is hosted by Dogwood Arts with sponsorship from Epiphone, Gibson Gives, ORNL Federal Credit Union, and the Tennessee Arts Commission.</p><p><br style="display: block;"></p><p>Questions?
