Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to achieving global gender equality. We have hundreds of local chapters across the U.S. where members learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income countries, and build community to forge meaningful connections that increase our strength and collective impact.
Members of Together Women Rise's NY, Ithaca-1 chapter - otherwise known as the "Quilt Divas" - have created a series of beautiful quilt panels featuring Rise's mission and grantees. Artists include Barbara Behrmann, Carol Boyer, Cheri Sheridan, Mary Diamond, Denise Kooperman, Maureen Jakubson, Therese O'Connor, Lorraine Benjamin, and Anne Garretson.
You have the opportunity to bid on one or more of these panels. All proceeds from the auction will directly support Together Women Rise and our mission to cultivate the collective power of community to achieve global gender equality. Bidding is open from Friday, October 20th at noon ET/9 am PT until Saturday, November 4th at 3 pm ET/12 pm PT. Winners will be announced at Rise's 20th anniversary celebration in Washington DC on November 4th and will also be contacted by phone and email. Winners can either pick up their panel in person at the DC event or Rise staff will mail the panel to you.
