We are honored to be part of Team Franklin in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. Our mission is clear: to support LLS in its fight to ensure access to life-saving treatments and ultimately find a cure for blood cancers.
LLS plays a vital role in advocating for patients and their families, improving treatment access, promoting meaningful insurance coverage, and accelerating research for new cures. Through our fundraising efforts, we aim to amplify this critical mission, striving together for a future free from blood cancers.
As Team Franklin competes against other Student Visionaries of the Year teams in New England, we do so with a shared purpose: to honor those we have lost and support those still fighting. Our commitment to this cause is deeply personal. Cancer, particularly leukemia and lymphoma, has left a profound impact on our Franklin, Massachusetts, community. We have watched friends and family battle these diseases, including four local families whose children are currently in treatment.
This campaign is especially meaningful to us as we honor Nick Gaspar—a cherished friend, teammate, classmate, student, and brother. His memory fuels our determination to fight for all those affected by cancer in our community. Our goal is simple but urgent: to build a future where fewer families endure the pain and uncertainty that cancer brings.
Our silent auction is the centerpiece of our fundraising efforts, and we are deeply grateful for your support. Every contribution makes a difference in this fight, and together, we can move closer to a world without blood cancer.
