Dragons will be AUCTIONED off online with the monies earmarked for public art in Downtown Glen Ellyn.
20 hand painted Dragon sculptures are lining the streets in windows throughout Downtown Glen Ellyn. These 18-inch dragon sculptures are made of resin and hand painted with love from our local shop owners and artists. To learn more about the Dragons on Parade visit: Dragons on Parade
All 20 Dragons will be collected from their current downtown location and available for viewing at the Festival of the Arts located at Lake Ellyn on Saturday, August 23rd in the garden of the Boat House.
This will be the 56th Annual Festival of the Arts, located at the beautiful Lake Ellyn Park in Glen Ellyn. To learn more about the festival: Festival of the Arts
All available Dragons start at $35 with an additional $5 bid. All monies will go towards public art in downtown, such as a mural.
Winners of the online auction can collect each on Sunday, August 24th at the Boathouse of Lake Ellyn. If unable to be present on this day, the Alliance can work with the buyer to forward the Dragon to you at a later date, or mail at the buyer's expense.
Thank you to our Dragon Sponsor, the Village of Glen Ellyn and thank you for your generous donation to public art.
