Description: Tucked on the edge of the cloud forest, surrounded by Glistening-Green Tanagers, Mountain Toucans and other rare birds among giant tree ferns, this home is a paradise for birders, nature enthusiasts, or for those looking to relax in a hammock on the porch.

Located in Mindo, Ecuador, the property sits at 1,450 m, with spectacular views of the Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including world-class birding, waterfalls, forest walks, tubing, rafting and ziplining.

This hillside home features bamboo beams, woven ceiling and beautiful black palm floors. Sleeping four guests, it has two bedrooms with a queen-size bed in one, and three individual beds in the other. The open kitchen fills with jungle air, and the dining and sitting area open out to terrace overlooking the garden and forests.

Mindo is two hours from Quito and the house is approximately 4 kms from the center of Mindo on a paved road. A car is convenient for getting around Mindo and the surrounding areas but is not necessary.
