This auction is being held as a way to celebrate 64 years of independence from Great Britain. Ghanaian Independence Day is celebrated on March 6. Like the United States, Ghana was once a part of the British Empire.
As COVID 19 prevents the traditional forms of Independence Day celebrations in Ghana, so does COVID 19 prevent us for holding our annual Experiencing Ghana event.
