Bynden Wood Stained Glass

Bynden Wood Session 6:
Our Creative Arts Director, Ron, created the raised black linework known as leading, and the campers then had a hand in staining the glass of the open portions. The high number of little spaces made dividing the work easy, and the campers each dyed a couple areas of their choosing - with colors of their choosing. The complexity of this random selection resulted in a piece that feels both ordered and chaotic, both busy and soothing in the final result. It is made of an old reclaimed window, which can be hung (or otherwise placed) in front of a light source for maximum effect.     20''h x 24''w
