O.F.C Bourbon Whiskey (1982)

Own a Piece of History! This is your chance to be the owner and consumer of just one of fifty bottles of rare, collectible, vintage-dated 1982 O.F.C Bourbon Whiskey. Want to know what makes this opportunity even better? It was generously donated to Food Rescue US by Buffalo Trace Distillery - which means you're making an amazing difference to the nonprofit leading the national food rescue movement, all while enjoying an incredible, exclusive bourbon.

This special release honors the National Historic Landmark’s original name - the O.F.C. Distillery. During Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr’s tenure, the O.F.C. Distillery was renowned for producing top class whiskey. Christened in 1870, the most state-of-the-art distillery of its era featured copper fermentation vats, column stills, and a first-of-its-kind steam heating system, still used in their aging warehouses today.

The packaging for O.F.C. matches the splendor of the whiskey itself, in lead free hand-cut crystal bottles with detailed fluting engraved into the mold. Visit http://ofcvintages.com/#about for in-depth details about this special bottle.

All funds from this auction will be used to support Food Rescue US' mission to end American food insecurity by directly transferring fresh, usable food that would have otherwise been thrown away from restaurants, grocers and other food industry sources to food insecure families throughout the U.S. Visit foodrescue.us for more information.
