Bid to win Stacey Byer's Cocoa Pod Painting

To raise much needed funds for the Grenada Community Library & Resource Centre, Grenadian painter and illustrator Stacey Byer, is auctioning her recently completed cocoa pod painting. The painting will be available for bids internationally via the Grenada Community Social Media pages. The auction will close on 22nd July, 2017. Persons interested in making a donation to the Grenada Community Library can also do so via the auction site.

“As a Grenadian illustrator I am automatically drawn to colourful Caribbean imagery…when I paint cocoa pods it’s not just the range of colorful pods that I am capturing, but also giving tribute to a symbol of Grenadian history that continues to reflect our productivity and resourcefulness.”

Money from the auction and donations will go towards the running costs of the library including the purchasing of supplies for its free programs and general maintenance of the library building.

Size
The artwork is acrylic on wood, piece measuring 30"(ins) x 14"(ins) 1/2 inch thick.

Currency:
All donations made will appear in US dollars, so please be aware of this when making a donation or bidding for the cocoa painting.

Delivery:
Winning bidders can arrange to collect the artwork from the library or arrange local delivery. International bidders will be charged a flat fee of $100 US dollars, once an actually cost of delivery is confirmed any difference will need to be added to your bid final payment.
