Chacocente Art Auction
Project Chacocente has grown from helping 10 families relocated from the Managua dump in 2004, to a full-fledged pre-k through high school and a center for community resources and empowerment. Chacocente Christian School's free education includes classes not offered in traditional Nicaraguan public schools such as English, Art, Dance, Computers, and Animal Husbandry. These classes help students, like artist Javier Lopez, to foster their own passions and talents. Today, Chacocente continues its mission to advance the dignity, freedom, health and joy of people in rural Nicaragua through education, faith, infrastructure and relationships.
