Fund Camp Outright

Camp Outright is an antidote to the isolation LGBTQ+ youth face. It’s a traditional summer camp, experienced through an LGBTQ+ lens. Campers enjoy activities based on their interests, including visual and performing arts, nature activities, and workshops addressing social justice issues all along the intersections of queer, trans, and questioning community.

For most campers, their week at Camp Outright is the first opportunity they've had to be their true selves within a community of peers. A local therapist shared: "Camp Outright did more for my client in a week than I've been able to do in a whole year."

Camp also serves as a crucial entry point for youth into our other programs, including Friday Night Group, drop-in, Trans Group, and our Youth Organizer leadership program.

This year, we are expanding to offer two sessions of Camp. We offer a robust scholarship program – no camper is every turned away for inability to pay.

With facility rental, staffing, food, supplies, and scholarships, this is the most resource-intense program we offer. It’s quite possibly also the most profound. You can make it all possible! Heck Yeah!
