If you are lucky, you saw Witnessing #2 at the AYS PERFECT PAIRS performance on May 14.
An oil on canvas by AYS grandfather Anthony Greco, this 28x64in piece of seven panels is a response to archeological sites he visited in Greece, echoing the ancient theaters, ruins, landscapes, and mazes encountered there. Mr Greco states: The central panel is an oil reiteration of sketchbook drawings I made in archeological museums during my visit.

Mr. Greco, both Academic Dean and a professor at Atlanta College of Art for 30 years, has shown works in galleries and solo and group exhibitions all over the United States. His works appear in corporate and private collections, including Bank of America, Coca-Cola U.S.A., King & Spalding, Chase Manhattan
Bank, the Butler
Museum of American Art, and the Jimmy Carter Presidential LIbrary. He holds a Master
of Fine Art in Painting from Kent State University and a Bachelor
of Fine Art in Painting from Cleveland Institute of Art.
