Angels Among Us
Medium: Oils
The inspiration for "Angels Among Us" came from sketching the flowers in my garden this past summer (while my dogs were busy hunting chipmunks and squirrels in the yard). The petal and leaf shapes of the canna lilies reminded me of angels looking toward the heavens. This oil painting has a grayscale underpainting followed by several transparent color glazes. Hope you enjoy my artistic interpretation.
