1. "Octobrella" by Tracy Crane

Like every one of us, octopuses are often misunderstood and underestimated. They are complex and intelligent creatures, with formidable strength and incredible survival skills. A surprisingly appropriate symbol for an event raising funds to fight cancer.

Tracy uses a wide variety of mediums to create her art, from buttons to bullets. Her diverse works have an accessible simplicity that captures one’s eye and interest. She lives in Central Massachusetts and is represented at West Brookfield Art and Frame and on The Back Roads Studio Tour. She also works in New York City with Sing for Hope’s piano painting project. This is her first umbrella and she says she was delighted by the creative experience. Tracy can be reached at lifeinmyzoo@gmail.com
