Espi Frazier is a career artist and an extraordinary talent. Ms. Frazier is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) who studied with one of the world's leading female abstract expressionists, Grace Hartigan. Ms. Frazier's art is exhibited at the Baltimore Museum of Art and numerous fine art galleries. Ms. Frazier recently retired as a beloved teacher of 27 years at Friends School of Baltimore. 

Ms. Frazier's stylized, yet sensitive portraits are inspired by the great American artist Charles White, as well as African, Caribbean, Egyptian, and Japanese art history. No matter what the media, Ms. Frazier presents the female figure as a goddess and life giver, celebrating the integral beauty of African people.
