Reclaimed Chestnut Barnwood Dining Set

If you've visited us at Good Hope Farms, you've seen the century barn on our property. For many reasons, this barn needed to be dismantled, but we were able to salvage some of the beautiful Chestnut wood! A turn-of-the-century blight killed off three to four million American Chestnut trees, leaving less than 1000 in the Eastern United States, making this type of wood extremely rare. 
Local artisans at Davis Woodworks have created this stunning dining table and bench from the reclaimed barnwood. Because this type of wood is so rare, this dining set is the first and last of its kind!
