Alaska Senator Ted Stevens signed Liimited Edition Art Print by Nicolosi
Dr Nicolosi Created the original portrait of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens which was unveiled and autographed by Nicolosi & Senator Steven's son Ben and his 2 grandsons Augie and Ted in Kenai, Alaska.
Senator Stevens was the the longest serving Republican senator in history at the time he left office in 2009.
He is widely credited as being the single greatest force responsible for ushering Alaska into statehood in 1959.
Stevens served for six decades in the Americanpublic sector, beginning with his service in World War II.
From Indiana originally, in 1952, his law career took him to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he was appointed U.S. Attorney the following year.
In 1956, he returned to Washington D.C. to work in the Eisenhower Interior Department, where he played an important role in bringing aboutstatehood for Alaska.
Stevens was also known for his sponsorship of the Amateur Sports Act of 1978, which resulted in the establishment of the United States Olympic Committee.
