Larry Bird signed basketball
Larry Bird (nicknamed “The Hick from French Lick”) played basketball at Indiana State University where he won the Naismith College Player of the Year in 1979, before becoming the 6th pick in the NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics (where he spent 13 seasons). Bird was a 12-time NBA All-Star and received the NBA Most Valuable Player Award three consecutive seasons from 84’ to 86’. He is a three-time NBA Champion and two-time finals MVP. Bird was a member of one of the most famous teams in history (1992 USA Men’s Olympic basketball team) better known as the “Dream Team”. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998!
