Holidays with your Greenwich Library!

Greenwich Library's Information Department is comprised of over 40 full and part time Librarians, and invaluable full and part time Library Technical Assistants. Librarians and Technical Assistants collaborated with Librarians and other staff members from both the Resources Management and Lending Departments to create unique ornaments so you can enjoy the holidays with your Greenwich Library through this "Novel-Tree."

  • Will and Vanessa, from the Library's new Innovation Lab, used our 3D printers and Laser Engravers to create the one-of-a-kind tree topper, silver stars, mini and full-sized bookmarks, decorative silver ornaments and a red snowflake.
  • Junko, Mari, Keiko and Kyoko modified book pages and special paper to create stunning origami.
  • Dulce repurposed book pages to weave a wonderful wreath that's worth a second-look.
  • Dora formed book pages to pristine levels and revealed a garland, tree skirt, and companion trees.
  • Rick laminated 11 mini books, representing the Greenwich Reads Together selections from 2011-present.
  • Rosa helped with essential paper and Marilynn with critical instructions.

This was all possible because our Greenwich Community loves its novels. Best wishes, and we hope you enjoy this holiday season.
