Description

Private Donum Experience for 5 (Value: $1,425) Courtesy of Kimberlee Swig Enjoy a two-hour experience at Sonoma’s Donum Estate, where wine and land live harmoniously with an ever-evolving, growing collection of more than 40 large-scale, open-air sculptures. The collection brings together a global community of artists, including works from Ai Weiwei, Keith Haring, Subodh Gupta, Doug Aitken, and many more, with art lovers who themselves represent the world. This private tour begins with a glass of award-winning Chardonnay and an all-terrain vehicle tour of the open-air sculpture collection, the on-site working farm, and the vast lavender fields that blanket the land. Your group is then invited to their private tasing in a serene elegant open air tasting salon for a seasonal exploration of our Reserve, Single-Block and Library Wines. Your tasting is accompanied by a specially prepared three course lunch just for your group. Included in your event is a gift of the three bottle Terroir Series of 2017 wines highlighting Donum vineyards in the Anderson Valley, Carneros, and Russian River Valley. Finally, you will leave with a copy of the Donum Estate book, Gift of the Land. With this book you can re-visit the collection anytime. This limited-run collector’s item celebrates the artwork and the artists that help make Donum magical. The international art collection at Donum is configured into alluring photos by Bob Berg and essays written by Clare Lilley, Pico Iyer and James Laube. Presented in a custom bound, grape leaf paper book, produced and printed in Verona Italy. Notice: Tour is based on availability. Tour is limited to five guests due to the ATV portion of the program.   For questions, please contact Danica Domingo, Advancement events manager, by email at danica@cca.edu or +1 415-551-9361.
