Description

Exclusive stay at Sea Ranch Home designed by Charles Moore and William Turnbull, Jr.  (Value: Priceless) Courtesy of Lorna Meyer Calas and Dennis Calas A once-in-a-lifetime experience at this historically significant Sea Ranch home, featured in numerous publications. Designed by Charles Moore and Richard Turnbull atop a hill overlooking the Pacific ocean and surrounded by a forest of redwoods, the property has never before been rented. The Sea Ranch was built as an environmentally planned community with open meadows and hedgerows on ten miles of magnificent Northern California coastline. A walking path spans the entirety of The Sea Ranch coastline for adventurous exploring or casual hiking. The natural setting of the home, built in the early sixties, belies the modern amenities in the upgraded kitchen and baths combined with high-speed internet and an entertainment center with streaming video.  The house sleeps four in queen sized bedrooms to accommodate two couples or a family of four. The outside decks facing the ocean include outside seating and dining, jacuzzi and propane gas grill. For those working remotely there is an office area overlooking the front garden. The renowned contemporary architecture of the home is enhanced by a collection of California art with many pieces from local artists. The home is available for a long weekend or a one week stay, including holiday availability. The timing of the visit is flexible and to be agreed upon by all parties.   For questions, please contact Danica Domingo, Advancement events manager, by email at danica@cca.edu or +1 415-551-9361.
