The strings are tuned to the top 4 strings of the guitar: D, G, B, E. The neck and bridge are made of Walnut, the fretboard is Paduk. There are two pickups wired to a switch. The neck pickup is a maple-cased single-coil 4 pole electric guitar pickup. The second pickup is a Piezo that is placed on the box lid under the bridge. The large knob controls the piezo volume. The single-coil pickup has both volume and tone pots. The sides of the box on the inside are lined with 1/4 in thick poplar. The fret markers are bone. The guitar utilizes a zero fret and a retainer nut rather than a traditional nut.
