Hexopus Art Wheel by Jesse Riggle

Artist statement:
I was contemplating things in the natural world that have a similarly to a bike wheel. The image of an octopus spinning quietly in the deep ocean came to mind and I decided to draw on that when creating my wheel. However, this creature of the deep is a hexapus.

Artist Bio:
Jesse Riggle is a painter and illustrator. He has done illustrations for games, magazines, books, and websites, most recently illustrating a board game called ‘Unearth’. He has also been an avid contributor to the pop-art scene showing in galleries across the U.S. including Gallery 1988, Spoke Art, Gauntlet Gallery, Bottleneck Gallery and Light Grey Art Lab. When not making client work, he enjoys painting lumpy things and experimenting with different mediums. Jesse also likes to pretend to be a nature photographer when travelling.
