Two Tickets to The Burden of Life by Sebastian Kroon

Associate Produced by Alley Theatre, and in community partnership with the Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC (CCBC), The Burden of Life is directed by Lynna Goldhar Smith and stars Chirag Naik, Elizabeth Kirkland, Kiomi Pyke and Ryan Gladstone. The Burden of Life will feature Set Design by Corina Akeson, Sound Design by CJ McGillvray, Lighting Design by Keagan Elrick, and Costume Design by Maryanne Renzetti. The show runs at the Havana Theatre October 17-26, 2019

Scott’s decided to end it all, but is not doing a very good job. His friends try to help him through the darkness, the best way they can, which is clunky and unwieldy at best. When his intentions get back to his girlfriend, everyone’s world gets turned upside down. Friendships, a marriage and everyday life all get pushed to their limits, and somehow in the midst of it all, we find ourselves laughing. If there's such a thing as a comedy about suicide, this is it.
