2012 Carmin by Danenberger Family Vineyards

This is a 750ml bottle of 2012 Carmin by Danenberger Family Vineyards. It is 100% estate grown Cabernet Franc, made by winemaker Susan Sullivan Danenberger.  This wine is one of 3 bottles in her private cellar. It is no longer available for purchase at Danenberger Family Vineyards. Big award winner.

Notes: This Estate Grown Cabernet Franc brings peppery end notes and some green bell pepper. This one concentrates on the black plum and graphite. After MLF it was barrel-aged for 14 months in French Oak with extended lees time to increase the vanilla and tobacco notes. It has a smooth acidity and soft tannins. Nose: Black plums, vanilla, oak, black currants, violets and mineral. Pair: Filet Mignon, Tuna, pizza, goat cheese, berries
