This pair of black and white sketches are of  Bolinas trees in Central Valley, the center of California. When looking at Annie Mann's work, you can feel the raw energy of her brush strokes. Because of this energy, each piece, although in reality carefully thought out and executed, appears fresh and spontaneous.   Originally from the East coast, Mann has shown in galleries in Colorado, Maryland, Georgia and New Jersey. She has traveled extensively in Asia.
