In September 2016, the MEM TEA Training Center & Tasting Room opened its doors in the Davis Square neighborhood. Many locals may already be familiar with MEM TEA as Boston’s premier tea provider for many of their favorite cafes and restaurants. The Tea Shop (& Tasting Room) has created a place for our current wholesale customers to get more training and step outside of their environment for a more focused, immersive experience. As we thought more about it, we also wanted their customers to have the opportunity to get to better know MEM TEA. Our Training Center concept came into view with the goal of demystifying the world of tea and making it available and accessible to all.

At this time The Tea Shop side provides over 100 loose leaf teas, all available by the ounce. We are always brewing something and we encourage everyone to stop by, taste, and learn something new.
