Summer rose was inspired by a beautiful bird I heard outside of my house. 

My name is Martin Montoya.  I am a 56 year old artist living in northern New Mexico (Tecolote).

I am self-taught, self-motivated and prolific and have been making arts since childhood.  I create using an intuitive approach I absorb from the cosmos, mixed with years of experience makes me a force to be reckoned with!  This has allowed me to fully express myself.

I have shown in galleries in the southwest and northwest parts of the U.S. and have received numerous purchase awards by the state of New Mexico.

I am always original and true to the path of my vision.

Art is the vessel our souls experience life with.
