Fed by the nutrient-rich waters that flow through the Somosomo Straits, Taveuni’s Rainbow Reef is home to one of the world’s greatest displays of soft coral. We have 20 spectacular dive sites nearby, between 10-20 minutes from our dive center, with three 30-foot dive vessels to whisk you away to the famous dive sites. Nitrox is also available. Our experienced local dive team, with intimate knowledge of the waters, select the best dive sites based on the currents and weather conditions to ensure each dive is a memorable one.

You can also journey through national rainforest parks, take coastal walks where the jungle meets the ocean, visit gorgeous white sand beaches and waterfalls that plunge into the sea, or visit secluded spots like Devoux Peak where you might spot the Tagimoucia flower, found only on Taveuni, or the Orange Dove and the Silktail, rare bird species only to be found on this island. Take in the stunning landscape on horseback, enjoy natural waterslides and waterfalls, visit the local villages or head down to the water sports center to go kayaking or snorkelling; there’s something for everyone!

Our Nature Spa is located in a private bure setting surrounded with natural jungle and a rock waterfall. The ocean, a stone’s throw away, complements the soothing and relaxing sounds of the tropics. Treatments available include massage, facial, sugar rub, niu scrub, manicure and pedicure.

Comprising 15 Ocean front suites each with a private patio, and 15 Ocean view rooms fully refurbished with private balconies, each accomodation offers a private space for luxurious comfort, and together with Garden Island Resort’s warm hospitality, it’ll become your home away from home.

This package includes 7 nights in an ocean-view room with private balcony, private round trip transfer to the Matei airport, daily continental breakfast, 2-course lunch, and 3-course dinner. Diving includes 5 days of 2-tank boat dives and unlimited shore diving, free use of kayaks and snorkel gear, breathtaking water pools and slides, and daily afternoon fresh baked goodies and coffee or tea.
