Artist Bio:  Adam Benton was born to a peasant family in the mountains of Moncton, New Brunswick, working the local lord’s lands for a meagre subsistence. Adam worked competently as he was told, but his eyes never strayed from the horizon and his mind never stopped wondering what else was in the world. At the age of 21 he left his village and travelled until he came to Infinite Expressions Tattoo Studio, which he had heard of but never seen.

For three days he stood before the great glass door, waiting. After the third day, the doors opened and a wizened man wearing gloves and an apron bade him enter. Over the next year, Adam was taught to defend himself and to attack; the ways of mustering and channelling his *ki* into physical acts, and learned letters, handwriting, and reading.

Now, his Master, Jeff Wilson, has ordered him away from his home and out into the world, to learn about the rigours of life. Brother Adam has no idea what lies ahead but will not refuse his trial.
