Wise Oak

Medium: Ink over Acrylics

This piece was inspired by my love for painting and printmaking. The original owl print was carved from linoleum and was applied over the tri-leaf painting. The heart of the stem lays at the heart of the wise owl. The towering oak tree provides a perfect place for the owl to roost, providing shelter and cover for watching over it's hunting grounds. Nature's delicate beauty is captured in this simple design. This is my second year participating in Art for the Paws.
