Growing up all his life in Washington State, Monte has shown his creative and mechanical ability since a very early age when at the age of 5 he rebuilt an old rusty bike and taught himself how to ride it. Creativity grew out of boredom. Growing up on a farm in central Washington Monte was always tinkering in the shop, painting around the house or rebuilding something. Currently Monte owns "The Faux Monte" decorative paint and faux finish company here in Yakima. Monte continues to paint, build, design and dabble in all things creative. Everything from cars and motorcycles to costumes and original artwork. He can now add "mannequin" to his resume!
