Dive Some of the Best Wrecks in the World Aboard the Truk Odyssey

The Truk Odyssey is your front seat to this prolific underwater antiquity.  Dive into Truk. Dive into History.
Your adventure begins with a giant stride back in time diving the Truk Lagoon ghost fleet. Chuuk Atoll (also known as Truk) in the Caroline Islands is infamous for its giant lagoon. The lagoon is the final resting place for more than 100 ships, planes and submarines - the legacy of a fierce World War II battle between the Imperial Japanese Fleet and Allied carrier planes. Declared an underwater museum, the taking of souvenir relics from the area is prohibited by law.  Nowhere else in the world are there so many wrecks in close proximity, situated in shallow clear water. Cargoes of tanks, trucks, airplanes, mines, bombs, machine gun bullets and thousands of other artifacts including beautiful china are still waiting to be explored. The warm, tropical waters and prolific marine life has transformed the wrecks into artificial reefs and beautiful coral gardens.
The Truk Odyssey is a 132ft steel dive yacht sleeps up to 16 guests, and was built and powered for comfort, safety and stability. The main deck has a beautiful air conditioned salon with a bar, a TV/DVD/VCR player and an assortment of movies, games and books. The upper deck is partially shaded and has room to lounge, eat and BBQ. The indoor dinning area offers a great view of the sea. The dive deck is not only spacious but well equipped with personal gear lockers and an in-place fill station. A 3-tier camera table, a charging station and rinse tanks are conveniently located for your use. Last but not least the dive deck is equipped with two exit ladders and freshwater showers. History is calling are you ready to take the plunge?
