Modernism Beyond Manhattan: Pick Your Queens Neighborhood!

Join Frampton Tolbert, creator of the Queens Modern project (a 2020 Modernism in America Award recipient), for a look at Modernism off the beaten path. For this tour, the recipient can choose any neighborhood in Queens for a specially curated walk to look at existing and past sites of Modernism in that neighborhood and nearby. We’ll explore the diverse but lesser-known architecture of the borough, from apartment towers to parks and synagogues to civic buildings. Take your pick: Jamaica, Forest hills, the Rockaways, or whatever you like! Length: 1 to 1.5 hours. Limited to 10 people.
