#07 Culture Quilt | Gensler SF, CA + Resident, NZ
Gensler SF, and New Zealand based Resident, reached across the ocean to create the Culture Quilt - a one of a kind object inspired by Stop AAPI Hate. Thrifted fabrics from San Francisco and Auckland representing each city's official colors were combined with deadstock fabrics donated by Kvadrat.
No matter how far apart the threads, or how different the fabrics, they all come together to celebrate diversity.
*Chairity is an annual fund raising event hosted by Two Furnish. This year's theme is Give Twoday, Change Twomorrow. Stop AAPI Hate is one of five benefactors.
** Stop AAPI Hate coalition tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning and child abuse against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
