Painted from a photo I took while visiting Fredricksburg, TX I was captivated by the delicacy of the flower sitting on the hearty pads, thriving in the golden sun. The pond was surrounded by other beautiful flowers that were reflected in both the water and the pads. These beauties are meant to be left in their natural habitat where their symbiotic relationship with the water allows them to bloom continuously.

Water is vital to our planet for so many reasons. We consume it, we play in it and our entire habitat requires it to survive. But, we take it for granted. Project Wet is an important organization to help ensure the sustainability of this most important resource for future generations to come.
