I am a local photographer that specializes in landscape photography. Growing up in the driftless area has been such a blessing. There's just so much beauty surrounding us each and every day. From the rolling hills and valleys, to the winding creeks and mighty Mississippi River, the photographic opportunities are endless. Photography has motivated me to get outside and explore. It's given me an excuse to hike that extra mile and see what's around the next bend.

I'll wake up super early or stay out late in hopes to get the shot I am looking or. Sometimes, I don't come away with an image, but I am always glad I went out. For me, it's all worth it when everything lines up, and I get that shot I've been looking for. While I do love to photograph the big wide image, I love to capture the more intimate details of the landscape. Often times, it's those smaller details that can have more impact.

While most of my work features local scenes, I have been exploring more parts of the United States over the past few years including White Sands National Park, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Park. I can't wait to explore more.
