Pine paneling and flooring, vaulted ceilings, and marine architectural elements distinguish the residence as a coastal station.    Bounded by Cape Creek, Bald Head Creek & BHIC conservation preserves, Saltmarsh Retreat overlooks Cape Creek from Middle Island’s Dogwood Ridge. The house rests in an acre of maritime forest of live oaks and palmettos - down to Cape Creek waters.   East Beach and miles of undeveloped shoreline are accessible privately, a 5-minute cart ride along pristine saltmarsh & Cape Creek Road.
