This beautiful 1950's vintage piece is marked made in Italy and in the millefiori style. At just under two inches, this bass-instrument shaped brooch is a gorgeous addition to any outfit. Millefiori is a glasswork technique which produces distinctive decorative patterns on glassware. The term millefiori is a combination of the Italian words "mille" (thousand) and "fiori" (flowers).
