Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you for taking the time for a very important message from our family! As many of you may know, our daughter Bella was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes (T1D) on January 27, 2012 while a freshman in college. This was a huge shock to all of us, as diabetes does not run in our family. This is why we are so passionate about supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF); JDRF’s research helps detect diabetes in asymptomatic youth before diagnosis, even in those who do not have it in their direct gene pool.
