ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am a British-Canadian artist. Evacuated from London to Devon during WWII, I watched our “wartime Popa” paint since childhood. I said “I am going to do that someday,” and still trying now in my twilight years.

I work mostly in watercolour, oil, acrylic & mâché. I was the first woman to do costume design and set design for G.C.P. for many years. I also painted backdrops (25x35") freehand. I was the first woman to be featured in The Standard-Int’l Year of the Women.

My work can be found in the U.S.A., Japan, Holland, U.K. & locally.  I am a lifetime member of the Niagara Pumphouse and held a show at their gallery.
