ABOUT THE ARTIST
Marlene Kawalez was born in Southern Ontario, where she lives, studies and continues to experiment with clay. She studied graphic design in Toronto and began exhibiting her sculptures in 2005. Kawalez continues her education through various workshops by artists from across Canada and the United States.
