Still Life

I have been an architect my entire adult life, and a painter for many years. I enjoy the play of light on objects large and small, and always seem to be taking pictures. This painting reflects a tabletop setting at her house in Martha's Vineyard. The sun came in one afternoon, and lit everything up beautifully. I knew some day it would become a painting.
