Queen (PRO)
Acrylic, stretched canvas, wooden frame. 40" x 30". 2014. I created this piece shortly after graduating from UVIC with a BFA. It began my "Atlantis" series. All paintings in the series were either slightly abstract or surreal, and monochrome blue. After I graduated from University I left very lost as to what I should do with the rest of my life. I had been in school for as long as I could remember and left with no real plan. This series helped me work through those feelings of being lost with no direction.
